God has a place for every child, and so do we.
Bannockburn welcomes families with children that have special needs. We want to provide a place where the entire family can worship and build a bridge from the home to the church to live a life for Christ.
We believe in mainstreaming children with special needs into age appropriate classrooms whenever possible. This is usually accomplished through the use of an adult “Buddy”. Our goal is to allow the child to hear the Word of God through classroom activities, build peer relationships, and gain independence. The adult “Buddy” is a volunteer who has been trained and a criminal background check has been completed.
To better serve your child, please contact Amy Louis prior to Sunday so we can match your child with a “Buddy.” The purpose of the “Buddy” is to allow your child to attend their age appropriate growth group in a safe, loving, and nurturing way.
