Jesus has called us to GO.

In fact, his final words on earth were a reminder to his followers to “go make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19) and to be his “witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the Earth” (Acts 1:8). As Christ followers, we can’t avoid God’s call in our lives to go out into the world and show love and grace to those around us. We start with our own communities: Austin, Dripping Springs, and Manor. This is where we should focus most of our ministry and time. Every day is an opportunity to reflect Christ’s love to the people around us. You have an opportunity every single day to GO and share the good news of Jesus Christ with those around you. As Jesus reminds us, “Your love for one another will prove that you are my disciples” (John 16:33).

From there, we move outward. We can’t neglect the rest of the world. These are people groups, cities, and countries that are unreached with the Gospel. We have been given the great opportunity of bringing Jesus to them. We do this with two strategies. First, we GO on short-term  trips where we have the opportunity to directly interact with people in other cities and in other countries. Second, we PARTNER with church plants in this city that are showing love to their community year-round.

Our goal is that Bannockburn is a global church. We want to make God famous in our entire city, in our entire country, and in our entire world.
