Showing the compassion of Christ to one another.
Sometimes it's good to get away from the busyness of your day and find those good friends who know you best.
The Women's Ministry at Bannockburn helps you connect to other women, providing the support you'll need to get closer to Christ, learning and reflecting the compassion He showed others.

Cheryl will also challenge us to leave our past behind and allow God to weave in us a beautiful life story.
Conference breakout sessions will include: "Walking Fearlessly" - How to live a life of prayer, service and spiritual conversations; "Fearless Authenticity" - How to live a life of appropriate transparency for God's glory; and "Fearless Faith, Hope and Love" - How to live believing God with expectation, not wishful thinking.
Our signature verse is, "I prayed to the LORD, and He answered me. He freed me from all my fears." Psalm 34:4 NLT

Women's Bible Studies and Events South Austin Campus
Tuesday Morning Ladies Bible study begins Tuesday, January 21st, from 9:30-11:30AM, in room 306 in the Abington Center. Sue Valk will lead Beth Moore's "Believing God." Do you take God at His Word, believing what He told us, or do you just believe in His existence and the salvation of others? Based on Isaiah 43:10, this study explores what it means to believe God. Through studying the lives of Abraham, Moses, and others from Hebrews 11 as examples of people who believe God, you will be encouraged to deepen your own trust in God and receive a fresh word from Him. Deaf interpretation is provided. No childcare.
Class ends May 6th followed by an end-of-session brunch on the 13th.
Wednesday Evening Ladies Bible study begins Wednesday, January 15th, from 6:15pm to 7:30pm, in room 101 in the Education Building. Sandy Kerr and Cora Bettis will lead Kay Arthur's "Lord, Teach Me to Pray: Practicing a Powerful Pattern of Prayer." During this four-week study, learn what the Lord's prayer teaches about effective prayer and how to put into practice its timeless principles. Getting to know the heart of God will be one of the joys of this study. Workbooks are $12 and will be available the first day of class. If you are unable to come at 6:15pm, Cora and Sandy will lead the same class from 7:00pm to 8:15pm.
Following Kay Arthur's study, Sandy and Cora will lead Margaret Feinberg's "Sacred Echo." Often when God speaks, He will echo the same message through a sermon, a passage of Scripture, a chance conversation, or an unexpected encounter. When you begin looking for these sacred echoes, you are better able to recognize God's voice in your life and walk more confidently in the fullness God has for you. "Sacred Echo" books for $8.00 and the workbooks for $7.00 will be availabe to purchase the first day of class.
AWANA which begins January 15th from 6:00pm to 7:15pm is available for children from preschool, age 3, to 6th grade. Take advantage of this opportunity to have Bible study while your child attends AWANA.
