Journey of Hope

Healing the Heartbreak of Abortion

The pain from a past abortion can affect a woman's life in many different ways. It often leads to shame and loneliness.  Many women hold this secret deep down inside. Alone. In silence. They lose interest in things they used to enjoy. They push people away. They avoid anything that reminds them of the abortion. They fall into deep depression or eating disorders. They become more promiscuous. Some even turn to drugs or alcohol, hoping to drown out the feelings they don't know what to do with.

If you identify with any of these symptoms, you may unknowingly be suffering from post-abortion trauma.

Journey of Hope is a ministry that reaches out to those who are struggling with a past abortion. We use Surrendering The Secret, by Pat Layton, an eight-week interactive Bible study that helps hurting women start the journey towards hope and healing. In a confidential environment, God is given room to gently work on hurting hearts, setting women free.

Would you like to be set free from the shame, the guilt, the pain? There is a way to find hope and healing from your abortion.  Contact Anna at journeyofhope@bbcfamily.com to start your journey. You can also find out more about volunteering with this ministry. All inquiries are confidential.

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13
